Build a Blog in a Day Review – From the ground up blogging course

build a blog in a dayI was kindly provided review access to a new blogging course called Build a Blog in a Day. The Access included also all upgrades to the course. So this time I am able to provide a lot more through review. And not concentrate just on the front end offer which has been the case so far.

What is it about?

Build A Blog in a Day is a video course on how to create a blog. While front end offer concentrates more on the mechanical side of how to create a blog. And the upgrades expand the contents to a quite comprehensive blogging course.

Main sales argument found from the sales page is:

“Discover A Simple Copy & Paste System That Helps Complete Beginners To Build A Highly Professional Blog In Just 24 hrs
“… Without Any Prior Skills or Knowledge” ”.

I’ll return to that in the conclusion of the review to see how well I think that that claim is justified.

What is included?

Course contents are for the most part videos. But there are some modules which include portions of text and / or images as well.

Front end offer, Build a Blog in a Day, includes five modules. These modules have a total of 11 videos and a running time of 82 minutes and change.

The first upgrade shows how you can include shopping possibilities in your blog. It is delivered in 4 modules, a total of nine videos and with a total length of 78 minutes.

The second upgrade is a hosting package. Hosting is a resale of a service provided by a separate hosting provider. Hosting includes automatic and manual backups and 40Gb of storage space. As well as email mailboxes and so on.

Third and final upgrade, Real Blogging Academy, is the actual meat of this whole package. 12 modules and 81 videos with a total running time of almost eight hours. Modules in the course are as follows:

  • Intro
  • Module 1: Prepare for Success – Self Awareness
  • Module 2: Building Your Blog
  • Module 3: Creating Amazing Content
  • Module 4: Make Use of Photos, Videos & Graphics
  • Module 5: Generate Traffic
  • Module 6: Social Media Marketing
  • Module 7: Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Module 8: E-Mail Marketing
  • Module 9: Building Your Audience
  • Module 10: Monetize Your Blog
  • Module 11: Your Blogging Business
  • Module 12: The Blogger Lifestyle

Who it is for?

People who have most to gain from this course are Beginner-level to moderately experienced. Or people who have been thinking about starting a blog, meaning that they have no blogging experience at all.

For the whole of the course, the material is provided in an easy to follow manner which builds on the prior modules. This makes it accessible to complete beginners.

Real Blogging Academy-upgrade is a comprehensive package. So I think even those who have been running a blog for a while can learn new things from it. Or at least refresh already known concepts.

How much does it cost?

  • Build a Blog in a Day
    • 9.90$
  • Sell Your Products Online
    • 37$
  • Hosting
    • 9.90$ per month or 97$ per year.
  • Real Blogging Academy
    • 197$

Scoring

Skill level (5/5)

Suitable for complete beginners.

Actionable (4/5)

There is nothing preventing you from getting started right away. And no extra tools other than hosting are needed. And even the hosting you can include in the package as an upgrade

Slight minus for not actively encouraging accountability. The new blog won’t happen if you don’t stick to it over a longer period of time. This kind of a course should in my opinion really try to hold the student accountable for her progress.

Presentation (3/5)

I think some of the videos could have used a slightly tighter scripting or some more editing. But other than that videos are of okay quality. No major problems with audio quality.

Most of the videos have only a white background and it is burning through a little bit to other colors. But this doesn’t really detract from the contents.

Both presenters have a slight accent but I didn’t have any problems in understanding any of the contents.

Value for Money (3.5/5)

The problem with this kind of a course is that basically all of the information is out there if you just search for it. But it is in bits and pieces all around. So the question is, what is the price tag you put on your time?

How much more content you could write in the time it would take to search for all of the information included in the course?

Build a Blog in a Day review – Final thoughts

I have recently gone through the main parts of the material available in the Wealthy Affiliate (see review) course. And I can’t help but compare these two.

Wealthy Affiliate is even more expensive with a higher monthly cost. But I think they back up that price with more content and a really well-organized community.

Also, I like Wealthy Affiliates emphasis on content creation and accountability. Both of which are things I think this course could have done a little bit better job.

Now it is just a video after video. Videos do have a progression in them. But it is not as clearly linked to actually building your own blog at the same time as it is with WA.

Also, I have to mention that I find it a little bit odd that they instruct to install WordPress manually. For example, Hostgator which I am using for my hosting needs offers in its control panel automatic installation script. And with this script, it is just a matter of a couple of mouse clicks and you are done with your installation process. Why would one install WordPress manually when there are so much easier methods available nowadays?

“Discover A Simple Copy & Paste System That Helps Complete Beginners To Build A Highly Professional Blog In Just 24 hrs
“… Without Any Prior Skills or Knowledge” ”

How well they backed up their sales headline? They did a good job I think. Following the steps in the basic course, you will have a blog up and running in 24 hours no problem. And will have time for good nights sleep as well.

Obviously that claim is only for the front end offer. The amount of material included in the total package takes more time to act on. But you will have a good start for your blogging career if you follow along and act based on the information provided.

[WARNING] Rapid Passive Profits – Okay product but shady product pushing after the sale

rapid passive profits reviewThere are so many sites promoting stuff with fake scam-warning headlines that I was really struggling how to title this post. It is shame that if you google “product name + scam” you will most likely find just promotional posts. And any valid concerns get lost in the background noise.

Why I m thinking about this in this review of Rapid Passive Profits? Not so much due to the quality of the product itself, but more due to the motive behind the product. But let’s first go over the product itself.

What is included?

A collection of 14 videos called modules claiming to lead the way to rapid passive profits. Total running time of just over 70 minutes. Videos are of okay sound quality but some of them have a mild echo in them which makes some of the videos slightly annoying to listen. Videos are mainly slideshow slides as well as over the shoulder content helping to cover the subject matter in each of the modules.

What is it about?

Rapid Passive Profits is a video course which describes a method to promote affiliate products. These products can be found from Warrior+, JVZoo or other affiliate marketing sites. A key component of promotion is to collect emails at the same time. This email list can then be used for further marketing of other offers to those same people. Nothing ground shattering but the process itself is valid.

Who it is for?

I would say that course is offered to people just getting started. And I doubt that more experienced people would get much out of it.

How much does it cost?

At the time of writing this review, the price is 8.91$ and price is increasing with every sale. You do get a popup if you have the intention to close the tab that offers a discount if you sign up for an email list. With the discount, I ended up paying 3.95$ for the course.

Obviously, that is just the frontend and there is total of three upsells included.

Unfortunately, I am writing this review couple of weeks after I made the purchase. And as I didn’t purchase any of the OTOs I don’t have access to them and can’t describe what those were about.

Usually, information on one-time offers is found on the JV pages for the offer. But this time that page only includes prices of all the three offers, 17$, 27$ and 197$ per package.

There are links to OTOs in the main course page, though. But these sales pages don’t give hard info on what they are about so without buying it is not possible to accurately decipher the contents of the upgrades.

Rapid Passive Profits review – Final thoughts

As I mentioned in the beginning, I have slightly negative views about this course. The course contents itself is okay and is worth the price of admission.

But what I don’t like. And why I included the [WARNING] tag in the headline is the fact that after the sale authors started bombarding my email from multiple lists with messages about a Pyramid scheme called Aspire / Digital Altitude.

I advise everyone to steer clear from any such program. If you try to search for info about them you’ll see that most of the first page results are fake reviews.

I think this course was created with a sole intention of promoting this pyramid scheme and not for the value it itself provides.

Usually, in this space, I include a link to the product I am reviewing but I am not going to do it this time. Even though the product was okay I just don’t want to associate myself with pyramids.

Penny Clicks Academy Review – Niche Marketing in Facebook

niche marketing in facebookI need to be honest and mention that I was about to skip this course as somehow it felt so overly hyped when several affiliate marketers started pushing it prior to launch earlier this week.

Only after I read an endorsement of it by Michael Wilding I made my mind and picked it up.

And paid for my indecisiviness. I think it was going for 24.95$ right at the launch but I ended up paying 31$ for the frontend product and at the time of writing of this review the price is 35$ and going up again in a couple of hours.

I have been planning to read up on advertising on Facebook for a while now and this product got me over the initial hurdles quite handily.

What is included?

A training course consisting of total of 10 videos. Total running time of videos is around 85 minutes.

Videos are very well presented. Audio is crisp and clear and presenters do a really good job in all of the videos.

What is it about?

Niche marketing or niche eCommerce in Facebook.

I think it is important to repeat that this course is not general Facebook advertising course but it presents a pretty specific niche marketing strategy.

A strategy that utilizes cheap clicks to build up a Facebook fan page and then monetizing it.

The only downside in this course is in my opinion that the monetizing part is left a little bit open and everything is not as clear as it is when it comes to the meat of the course – penny clicks.

And I think the monetizing portion is the trickiest one to do right in a strategy like this and it does need the willingness to learn independently to figure everything out.

But it does what it says on the tin, you learn how to get clicks for pennies.

Who it is for?

Anyone who wishes to get started in making money. Or add somethin new to existing income portfolio.

Authors have gone to great lengths to test the material with beginners in mind and it shows. So I am confident that even people with beginner level IT skills are able to follow along.

What does it cost?

As mentioned above, the current price is 35$ and sales page claims that price is going up again in a couple of hours to 37$ which is the final price of the course.

I like that kind of integrity in sales pages, by the way. If you claim to raise the price in x hours. Do it as well and don’t start the counter again upon reload.

I didn’t pick up any of the One Time Offers (OTO) but they are as follows:

  • OTO 1 – DFY Campaign Academy
    • 67$
    • 5 case studies showing actual campaigns done
    • 10 Done For You niches
      • Including sample content and graphics
  • OTO 2 – Social Ad Suite Pro + Social Pixel Suite
    • 67$
    • Facebook ad creator software
      • 1000 assets included
    • Facebook tracking pixel plugin for WordPress
  • OTO 3 – Penny Clicks Mastermind
    • 97$
    • 4-week hands-on course to the course contents

Biggest value from these three I think comes from OTO 2.

Obviously, you can create ad graphics with any suitable graphics editor. But for someone whose core competence is not in graphics that piece of software seems to give an easy to use way to create custom graphics specificly for Facebook ads.

Do remember though that my impression of these OTOs is based on sales material and not in actually trying the software.

Penny Clicks Academy Review – Final thoughts

Refreshingly well produced video course with actionable content. The only big downside in my books is the lack of attention on the monetization aspect.

They do mention in the videos that detailed look is not in the scope of this course. I just wish it were. With current contents, you get something like 80% of the journey covered.

While going through the course I was able to create a campaign to advertise my blogs Facebook page. Not getting the clicks at pennies, but not really doing it as instructed either as my page is not exactly what this course is meant to be used with either.

But, even with those caveats, I highly recommend that you check this out.

Buy Buttons: The Fast-Track Strategy to Make Extra Money … – Review

extra moneyI just had to cut that title short from the full Buy Buttons: The Fast-Track Strategy to Make Extra Money and Start a Business in Your Spare Time. It is book review time! Book in question is written by Nick Loper whose one claim to fame was to be featured on Fiverr front page and making 920$ in 10 days. Book, which is offered both as Kindle version as well as a hardcopy is basically a directory of different kind ways to sell or share your skills and / or belongings.

What is included?

One book. Either as hardcopy or as Kindle edition. 257 pages.

What is it about?

Directory of ways to make extra money on- or offline. Well, not necessarily restricted to extra money, one could combine several streams and make a full-time income from the listed sources. Book includes topics such as

  • Share Your Car
  • Share Your Opinion
  • Share Your Food
  • Sell Your Artistic Talent
  • Sell Your Expertise
  • Sell Your Smarts
  • Sell Your Pictures

Who it is for?

Anyone who wants to make extra money but doesn’t know where to start. And even if one is well on the way with extra income I would wager that at least some of the content is still new.

What does it cost?

2.99$ for Kindle edition and 14.99$ for a paperback.

Buy Buttons review – Final Thoughts

This is a good reference and inspiration book for anyone interested in making money by utilizing their skills or assets. Book is well written and I didn’t catch any obvious errors. But still it is only a directory, it doesn’t teach you to do any of the stuff presented. I bought the Kindle edition so I can’t comment on the quality of the print in the hardcopy. The value in the Kindle edition is hard to beat.

Rapid Profit Ninja review – quick start to online earnings?

rapid profit ninja reviewIn this Rapid Profit Ninja review I take a look at the one of this weeks big launches. It is created by fellow named Art Flair and main promise in advertisements is that with what you learn from this course you can make up to 80-100 dollars per day. And with only 30 minutes of work per day to achieve that. At the time of writing this review there have been over 1000 copies sold. So that sales claim is clearly resonating with people. Lets take a closer look.

What is included?

Course is delivered as a 27 page ebook which is well edited and easy to read. Pages are not overtly full and actual length is little bit over 3000 words. In addition to downloadable PDF the product also includes three videos with a running time of roughly 11 minutes. Videos are purely supplementary and they provided just to help understanding some of the concepts presented in the book itself.

What is it about?

As the idea presented is basically pretty simple I can’t say too much about it without blowing everything wide open. Wouldn’t be fair to the creator in my opinion. But in short it revolves around certain types of tasks that are delivered to customers via Fiverr and similar services.

Who it is for?

Skill requirements for taking into use the methods presented are not overtly high. So I would say that this course is suitable for everyone. But I don’t see that this methods by itself is very scalable so that places some limits to who gets most out of it.

What does it cost?

Front end product is 7.70$ and that includes everything listed above. In addition to that there are three different One time offers. These OTO’s I didn’t purchase so I can’t say how worthwhile additions they really are and I go just by their description.

OTO 1

  • Instant Ranking Blueprint + Advanced Training
  • 19.95$

OTO 2

  • 2 Case Studies + 30 Done for you – Listings + 3 Extra Methods
  • 27$

OTO 3

  • Coaching Mastermind Group + 1 on 1 training
  • 197$

Rapid Profit Ninja review – Final Thoughts

I have grown to be a little bit cynical to claims that one can make money with very little effort. And this product hasn’t dispelled these thought. That being said, I do believe that in the correct hand it is possible to make at least some money and it could be just  what is needed right now or used as a part of larger portfolio of services provided. I think biggest hurdle will be to actually find a buyer for gigs one is to put on offer. I checked one of the suggested categories and there were 162 pages with 48 gigs per page so the competition is not exactly light.

If Fiverr selling interests you, check the sales page here

I hope you have enjoyed this Rapid Profit Ninja review and I would like to here in the comments if you have experience on selling gigs on Fiverr.

Wealthy Affiliate Review – Internet Marketing University

Earning extra income is one of the key themes at this blog and in this Wealthy Affiliate review I am going to take a good look at it as creators of the product promise to help with that. Well, calling it a product might be a little misleading as it is actually more like a complete online business curriculum.

What it is about?

classroomsWealthy Affiliate is a membership website where members can find extensive training regarding online business as well as hosting services and so on. Two major parts of the site are classrooms and certificates. Certificates are written by site staff and additionally include tasks that student can cross out once they are done to proceed to the next lesson. Classrooms include staff written as well as member written articles. Big appeal of the website is the active community. At the time of writing this review there are several people in the live chat either asking questions or just hanging around.

certificates

Who it is for?

Main target audience for this service are people who from complete beginners to moderately experienced. That being said, I think even profitable and experienced marketers can find new information from the courses provided. All in all beginners are very well catered for.

Is it any good?

It is really good in my opinion. Information is actionable. All of the materials I have read so far has been very well written. Help is readily available, both from staff as well as from other members of the site. And one of the big pluses in my book is the continuous encouragement and tracking. I have no doubt that if a person follows all the lessons and completes all of the tasks that they will be at least moderately successful in their online business.

What is included?

As mentioned, bulk of the content is different classes and certifications which are provided in both written and video format. In addition to that there is a full fledged hosted WordPress platform for hosting your own websites, two of which are included in the Starter set. Offering is completed with helpful tools for link tracking and keyword research and so on. To see a little taster on the content, please see this page with a video about how to create a website in under 30 seconds. Or this question I asked in the questions area.

What does it cost?

Wealthy Affiliate has two membership levels, free and premium. Free is free forever and includes first level of certification as well as two hosted sites and so on. Premium  which costs 49 $ / month (First premium month is discounted to 19$) includes all of the content. Differences between the levels are pretty well summed up in the picture below.

membership levels

Final Thoughts

I am very impressed by this product. It is something that is well above anything else I have encountered in the Internet Marketing space. I started up with Wealthy Affiliate roughly a week ago and converted to Premium level today. And I will happily recommend this to anyone who is interested in the subject matter. I am a little hesitant to give a full five star review, but I think Wealthy Affiliate is just that good.

Arbitrage ATM review – Make real money from home!

Want to get started making money working from home? In this Arbitrage ATM review I cover one product describing  how that is possible. At the same time this is my first product review in this blog and my first ever video review of a product. Two firsts on one go!

arbitrage atm review

Arbitrage ATM

In short, Arbitrage ATM is a great course and in my opinion great value for money. Especially if you are just starting out or looking for additional revenue streams.

Three main reason for why I think so:

  • Actionable information
  • No huge learning curve
  • No huge capital requirement

Watch Arbitrage ATM review here:

I am not sure if I really was able to get my point properly across in the Arbitrage ATM review video but basically what you will know after going through the course is buying products from various sources and then selling them with a markup for a profit. And the beauty of this is that fulfillment is handled by Amazon so you personally don’t need to have anything in stock as everything is warehoused at Amazon fulfillment centers around the country (or globe for that matter).

Arbitrage ATM review score is a solid 8 / 10 .

Why nine and not ten? Well, as this is my first review I feel that I do need to leave some room for movement both up and down.

There are two upgrades available in the the product.

OTO 1

  • Additional training
  • 27$

Haven’t gained access to this so can’t comment on this one

OTO 2

  • Daily sourcing list
  • 47$ / month

Haven’t actually seen the lists personally but the idea sounds exactly like something one would need if one would like to really scale this kind of business as I am thinking that only thing limiting earning potential in this method is time available for sourcing.

It is on the pricey side so I think it should be considered only if you are ready to make the commitment to make the best out of it.
